What should I avoid during healing?

Avoid touching, twisting, rotating, or playing with your jewelry. Keep makeup, lotions, and other products away from the piercing. Avoid swimming in pools, hot tubs, lakes, and rivers during the initial healing period.

Is redness, swelling, or tenderness normal?

Yes. Mild redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising, and clear or whitish discharge are normal during the healing process. If you experience severe swelling, excessive pain, or unusual discharge, contact a healthcare provider.
